One of our holiday favorites that can be made year round. This light and fluffy mousse is a lovely sweet-tart mix that you won't be able to resist.
This recipe has been in my husband's family for decades and is something the Thanksgiving table is never found without. Originally from one of the recipes on the side of a can of cranberry sauce, it has morphed and changed with time and the needs of the family.
We start this recipe the night before by blending the jellied cranberry sauce with a mixture of jello and cranberry juice. Let that begin to firm in the refrigerator. Make whipped cream and mix the two together and let set. That is how easy this recipe is.
