Easy Roaster Turkey

This simple turkey is amazing to put in your roaster and be able to have a full holiday meal in a fraction of the time of baking.

As a kid, I remember every Thanksgiving there would never be enough room in the kitchen (or the oven) to cook the whole meal so that it actually all came out hot and delicious. Either the turkey ended up cold or dry from being kept warm for too long (which probably explains why I prefer dark meat).

As we got older and began understanding the stresses of trying to get a whole meal for 30 people on the table in a 30 sqft kitchen (God bless my grandmother), we began turning to modern gadgets and conveninces, my favorite being the electric roaster oven.
