I never really celebrated St. Patrick's day growing up, and only really thought about it when all the green showed up at school and 'Shamrock Shakes' showed up at McDonalds (which I came to love). When I got to college I was introduced to this adult version of the shake. Over the years I have adapted it and made it my own.

While in all of my expiramenting with this recipe I have found that the only important part of it is to keep the 1:1 ratio of rum to creme de menthe, here is my favorite version of it.
